The communal apartments (and the family apartments by request) have a table and chairs in the kitchen. All inhabitants share a club room, a sauna (once a week a free sauna turn) and a laundry room.
Commercial services The shopping centre next door offers a grocery store, specialty shops, post office, pharmacy and a restaurant.
Sports opportunities Good jogging/cross country skiing tracks. Micro cart racing track. About 3.5 km to the Kuopio hall (track and field sports, gym), swimming pool, bowling alley and skating rink.
Other services The area has a primary and secondary school, a day-care centre, a library and a healthcare station.

Ik kom te wonen op nmr 7. De wijk Neulemäki bevindt zich bijna helemaal links bovenin. Volgens mij is het wel een lekker plekje om te wonen. Een wijk met gezinnen en voldoende voorzieningen. Van de twee meiden uit mn klas die ook naar Finland woont Eline bij mij in het gebouw en Ans woont in het gebouw ernaast. Dus het wordt nog ff afwachten wie mijn roomies gaan worden. Ik ben heel benieuwd!!

En gezien de omschrijving kun je daar in de winter nog genoeg doen, en schaatsen meenemen natuurlijk ;) En gratis een maal per week naar de sauna... heerlijk zeg! Ook leuk dat er wat bekenden in de buurt zitten, dan kan je makkelijk samen dingen gaan ondernemen. Weet je al wat voor soort iemand er bij jou in de flat komt wonen, ook een student van dezelfde opleiding of misschien zelfs een Nederlander? Nou we wachten het af! Groetjes!
